How to check IDO ferry cancellations

“Are IDO ferries cancelled today?” needs a more specific answer than a citywide yes or no. One departure may be cancelled while a later sailing or the reverse direction operates. Check the departure terminal, arrival terminal, date and departure time together.

Three checks before you leave

1. Match the direction on your ticket. Pendik → Yalova and Yalova → Pendik are different services. A city name is not enough to identify a terminal.
2. Find the date and time. Open the sailing tracker and check its update time where available. You can save the sailing you are following.
3. Verify with the operator. Check your booking and any notices through İDO’s official channels. Repeat this check before travelling to the terminal.

A cancellation probability is not a cancellation notice

Sefer İptal is an independent tracking and analysis project, not the official IDO website. A model estimate does not replace the operator’s decision. High risk is not a confirmed cancellation; low risk does not guarantee a departure. If data has not arrived or a sailing is missing from search, do not interpret that absence as a cancellation.

What if your sailing is missing?

Check the direction, date and terminal first. Schedule publication and delays in the data feed can affect what appears. An empty result is not evidence that a route has closed. Return to the operator’s booking service and announcements. Sailings operated by another company are not automatically covered by this project.

Ticket changes and onward travel

If a cancellation is confirmed, consult the current change and refund conditions through the channel where you booked. Allow time for onward connections when considering another journey. A historical cancellation share cannot guarantee that an alternative will run: verify each new date, direction and time separately.
