Service and scope
Sefer İptal is an independent ferry information service. We display public sailing information, cancellation notices, historical analysis and experimental cancellation estimates for the operators, routes and dates actually covered. Access from another country does not imply worldwide ferry coverage. We are not a ferry operator, ticket seller, travel agent or the official website of İDO or another operator, and are not affiliated with those operators. The service does not book, change or cancel tickets, process refunds, trace parcels or cargo shipments, or make operational decisions for a carrier.
Reading status and predictions
Reported sailing status is source information as last checked, not a guarantee about departure. A cancellation prediction is a model estimate, not a cancellation notice, a safety certificate or a promise that a sailing will operate. Historical cancellation percentages are not a forecast for a particular sailing. Check the route, direction, travel date, displayed time zone, source and update time. An empty, stale or unavailable result does not mean no cancellations, no sailings, or a closed route. Confirm travel decisions and any ticket changes with the operator or your booking provider. Marine and weather information here is not suitable for navigation or emergency decisions.
Using assistant tools
When available in ChatGPT or another compatible client, our tools retrieve information only. They cannot perform a booking, cancel your trip, issue a refund, or access your personal tickets. An assistant may interpret or summarize a tool result incorrectly; use its source links to verify material details. OpenAI and other assistant providers have their own terms and privacy controls. Availability here does not imply endorsement, certification or approval by OpenAI. Use does not require giving us identity documents, booking codes, passwords or payment information.
Permitted use and attribution
You may use the service to obtain sailing information and link to our pages. When quoting or summarizing our original analysis, identify Sefer İptal, link to the relevant page and retain source, date and uncertainty information. Third-party records, trademarks, maps and linked content remain subject to their respective owners’ rights; these terms do not grant a license to redistribute upstream databases or raw archives. Do not impersonate an operator or present our predictions as confirmed operator announcements. Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass technical restrictions, overload the service, exploit vulnerabilities or use it unlawfully. Legitimate use of the documented read-only tools is permitted within their published limits.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to present useful, accurate information but coverage, updates and availability may be interrupted or incomplete. Sources, models and features can change. We may limit abusive traffic and discontinue or modify a feature. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, completeness or fitness for a specific travel decision. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or personal injury. We do not impose mandatory arbitration, a waiver of statutory consumer remedies or an exclusive foreign court through these terms.
Privacy, contact and corrections
Our privacy notice explains queries, hosting, browser storage and optional analytics. Analytics consent is separate from using this service or reading these terms. Contact us with the page, route, date, time and a source for a correction; omit tickets and sensitive personal information. Ticket or refund complaints belong with the operator or booking provider. These terms do not change your contract with them.
Changes and languages
We publish updates with a new effective date; changes apply prospectively and do not reduce mandatory rights. Turkish and English versions are intended to communicate the same terms.
